Fantasy art gallery

From a young age I've been drawn (hah, no pun intended) to fantasy creatures and characters, especially Elves (you'll see quite a few Elves in my galleries). I read, and then re-read, a lot of high fantasy novels, and they are always a great source of inspiration. There's also some fantasy portraits to see in my portraits gallery.

Note - There are a large number of images on this page, please give them a minute to load.

Winged Rabbit

\Migrus volucris'cuniculus '\, n. I found this small winged rabbit in the dry hollow of a tree in my back yard. I'd heard of these creatures before, but I didn't think they liked the Australian climate - obviously this one had a taste for warmer weather. She seemed safe and cosy and I was careful not to disturb her nest.

Digital painting over pencil drawing on cotton canvas sheet.
